Background: This is (hopefully) one of the eagerly anticipated "character building" threads. More of a trial run, experimental, test-drive version, really.
I'm not going to allow superhuman feats, yes, that's right, Frost can't fly, no dodging bullets, though I really hope it doesn't come to that. The basic rules of incident still apply, of course.
Please take your actions seriously, this is not a "take on god" thread where everyone has to be killing everyone else. THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A FIGHT THREAD.
If possible I would like to avoid vehicles, as they seem to cut people off from the rest of the thread. Cars are ok, I guess for moving around, though I'd prefer walking, because, hell we won't get tired typing, and it opens up possibilities.
I'd like this to be independent of all the other stuff, assume no prior associations with other characters. Unless of course, two people agree that they already know each other or whatever.
What I'm getting at is that, for example, Chris and Clarke shouldn't be mortal enemies unless they somehow meet and decide they hate each other.
I had thought about doing character profiles like we did in "the halls of foul remembrance" but decided against it.
Please use your heads in this, if you don't have anything to add to the thread then don't bother posting, save it until you maybe see an opening that works for you.
In other words, don't say "I didn't feel like doing much so I sat under a tree and fell asleep".
Also: don't think that everyone has to show up in the same place. As cleverly pointed out by Martin Scripts earlier today, threads get stuffed up when lots of people all get introduced at once. Add other parts to the world, so that we've got somewhere to go.
Example: I'm starting in a park. This does NOT mean that I want Seathia to jump out of a tree and sayy helo and then pull out his 2hande srwod and siwig it towerds my neck and than take his 2 fan sican thowing axes and throw those at me but one got impled in t tree trunkand the hanlde broke off, Seathia laughed and swung his mighty bleda aruond in a prfect sirlce... And generally proceed to throw up all over my shoes.
What it DOES mean is that there happens to be a park in the town, (after all what good town doesn't have a park?) and that my character enjoys, or at least at the time decided to to be, walking in the park.
Anyone else could spawn a carpark, movie theatre, alley, (though please guys, some originality), their own houses, school(s), Train stations, McDonalds, a pond, bridge, whatever.
So we'll build up a town, I guess someone could name it if they so desire, and decide where in the town things that they spawn are.
Ie, if you say, "I was at the movies", you could say "The movies were next to Mcdonalds".
or "The movies were next to axle's house." Though I don't know why you'd want to go there.
For this to work, I think it needs to be replied to fairly often. I also feel it might need to be moderated fairly heavily, for various reasons.
Right, I'll shutup then, shall I?

Frost strolled idly through the botanical gardens, admiring the way the greenery was always green here, most unlike his own backyard that was generally a dull shade of khaki.
The sunlight reflected off the moist leaves, and he checked his watch. 4:30. He best be moving.
Frost walked out through the stone gate and out onto the footpath. A blue car went past, oddly, it had a white shoe in the grill. Unusual, he though, but didn't consider it further.
He walked slowly down the street, his home was at least a half-hour's walk away, but he didn't mind. The fresh air did him good.
Frost walked over the bridge, and stared intrigued into the clear water. This was becoming a favourite pastime of his...
He looked bleakly up at the hill in the distance. Home was a while away yet, but he'd get there. It's not like anything else ever happened in this town.

The buskers had been in town. Some were still there, swallowing swords for the few people who hung around in the middle of town at the end of the afternoon. The afternoon was empty. Shops were closing, people were drifting off to get home and start making dinner, others were leaving the movies. Everywhere it was quiet, mostly silence broken occasionally by the clapping of the dwindling crowd.
Chris decided to become one of the leavers. He walked off, and headed for home, cutting through the park.

The Sunlight gleamed off the river that cut though the city and divide the park into two large grassy planes with trees spotted around in no real order.
Seathia looked into the river and started to think. All things from "why are we here" to "whats that funny sound" went though his mind.
As the sun light slowly sunk into the sky he started to sing to himself.
The chill of the night started to settle in.

The sun's head hangs. The day is ending.
I find myself sitting upon a wooden bench, the kind covered in bird droppings. My eyes watch with curiosity as people make there way home. Home sweet home, I have no home, I am home-less.
Time passes, darkness showers the streets and here I sit.

Daniel swore again, more loudly, and kicked at a tree.
Kick.
"Bitch."
Kick.
It wasn't working, he realised. The tree was solid. Daniel looked at his shoe guiltily for damage and decided he needed a less painful way of expressing himself. He began walking towards the river. Then he stopped, realising that he was still getting it wrong.
He lowered his eyebrows into a scowl. It seemed to fit right. Staring down at the ground, he tried storming across the park instead.
Daniel was hoping to find rocks, and throw them in a melancholy manner.
He started to plan how he would throw them to create the desired effect.

The moon light lit up the river.
His bones cracked as he got to his feat.
Seathia walked along the river bank toward the edge of the park.
He stoped when he reached the path at the edge of the road.
He steped out on to the cold lifeless road. When seathia reached the other side of the road he saw a large empty building with a bored windows.
The door made a dull creaking sound as Seathia opened the door.

It started to rain, and home was at least 15 minutes away. It was right on sunset, and Frost decided to wait it out here.
"Shit", he thought, "it'd better clear soon."
His school uniform was damp, and his cell phone had run out of battery power (again!).
At least this one had a vibrate mode.
Out of curiosity, he pushed at the wooden door, and it swung heavily open.
It didn't look like there was anyone inside, and being ever-fascinated with abandoned buildings, he stepped into the darkness...
The filtered sunlight shone through cracks in the wood, the concrete walls crumbling to dust, but somehow still standing.
Then something stirred in the shadows and Frost jumped, suddenly terrified ...

Chris crossed the bridge in the park as he walked slowly towards home. He slowed down as he heard someone swearing loudly.
"Bitch."
Chris was pretty curious now. What was this guy's problem? He had now stopped kicking the tree, and had moved on to throwing rocks into the river. The only problem was, Chris was in this guy's line of fire, and he hadn't noticed yet.
It was Chris's turn to swear as a small rock hit him in the side of the head.
"What the fuck...? Hey man, what's your problem?"

An unknown figure had entered the building.
Seathia droped his bag it made a dull clanking sound.
"Shit!" Seathia yelled.
As he turned to see this stranger.
"Sorry man, you scared me"
"Names Seathia."
Seathia walked toward the wet figure.
"whats your name dude?"
